Later that evening, after Troy and Finn’s initial bout, Cassidy Earthsong decided to drop on by. She and Finn had been friends since childhood, and she was nothing more than excited to see his new house. Upon opening the door, she was immediately greeted by a smiling Finn, the sous chief covered in head to toe with flour.
“Hiya,” he was grinning ear to ear, clearly more than happy to see his friend. Cassidy smiled back, the two making an immediate B line for Finn’s bedroom. If at all possible, he wanted to avoid Troy.
“How’s the new roommate?” she asked with a smile, fully aware that he was annoyed with Troy beyond belief. She wasn’t at all uncomfortable when Finn closed his bedroom door. He was like a brother to her; not an ounce of sexual tension in the slightest.
“My God, I can’t even begin to describe how stupid he is. I caught him earlier watching Jerry Springer. He spent about ten minutes yelling about ‘baby daddies’ and ‘pimps and daggers.’”
“Oh wow,” she said with a laugh. “Sounds like you two are really going to get along.”
“Totally.” Finn stood in front of his bookshelf now, reorganizing his collection by genre instead of alphabetical order. Thirsty, Cassidy headed towards the kitchen with the intent on getting some water. Just as she closed the door behind her, she was greeted by the man of the hour.
“Holy fuck!” Troy exhaled, his breaths rapid from a workout. “You’re fucking green!”
She stopped in her place, her presumptions about Troy being proven entirely incorrect. He might have been annoying as hell, but god was he gorgeous.
